Begin with something that matters, agree on the result, learn actively and show what you can carry into a changed situation.

You can begin before you know the right question.

A Curiosity Project can begin as a question, a work responsibility, a decision, a problem or something you cannot yet name clearly.

“I do not know yet” is an honest starting point. You will not be asked to invent a prediction or pretend to understand something you have never learned.

The first steps give you enough context to begin. Not knowing is treated as a starting point, not a failure.

Bring what matters

Explain what you are curious about, responsible for or hoping to become better able to do.

Agree on success

Review what is in scope, what is not and what will count as reaching the current result.

Learn actively

Explain, attempt, compare, challenge and revise rather than only receive answers.

Handle change

Try your understanding in another situation, representation, decision or context.

Keep help visible

Distinguish what you did independently from where AI or another source helped.

Reach the result. Keep the project.

Active learning stops at the agreed result; the project remains available for a later need.

Agree on the result before you begin.

You review what you want to become capable of, why it matters, where you intend to use it, what is included, how you will know you reached it and what reaching it will not establish.

If the complete path cannot be defined yet, the current work is presented as a bounded first phase before you accept it.

No surprise requirements: new directions may become valuable later, but they are offered as a separate choice. They are not added to the result you already accepted.

Know what became yours.

Sometimes the right thing to do is let AI solve the task. Curiosity Project does not treat AI completing the task as evidence that you learned how to do it.

The product keeps assistance visible and gives you opportunities to explain, apply, judge or challenge the learning under fresh conditions.

AI can produce the work. The project checks what you can carry forward yourself.
